Nozzle
Making fuel and EV price data useful, accessible and private.

The problem
Fuel prices vary a lot between stations a few minutes apart, and they change often. Governments across Europe, the UK’s included, publish station prices as open data, but a data file isn’t something you can use from the driver’s seat. EV drivers have a similar problem: prices and availability are spread across dozens of networks and apps.
Nozzle answers the practical question: where should I fill up or charge, right now, and is it worth the drive?
Who it's for
Everyday drivers in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia and Lithuania, and EV drivers in the UK. It’s free, it doesn’t need an account, and it still works if you’d rather not share your location.
free, no account, location optional
What I built
All of it: native apps for iPhone and Android, the back end and the website.
- A map-first home screen showing the cheapest fuel nearby, with real drive times.
- Station details with price history, and a simple “worth the drive?” check: open now, fresh prices, no more than five minutes further, and at least £1 or €1 saved.
- A Stats tab that tells you whether prices in your area are low, usual or high this month, and what that means for a 50-litre fill.
- UK EV charging across 16 networks, with prices including VAT at the current time-of-use rate, and live availability.
- Home Screen widgets on both platforms, plus Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight and Control Center on iPhone.
- Eight languages, with fuel names that match the local pumps.

Privacy
Nozzle has no accounts, ads, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”. Your location is used to find stations near you, and it isn’t stored.

Building something like this?
Whether you're starting from an idea or improving something that already exists, I'd be happy to hear about it.
